AI Invasion
Ok, I just got an email this morning from my Health Insurance provider. It states:
We’re excited to introduce a new way to help you stay healthy and connected with your healthcare team.
What’s happening: You may receive a friendly call from our new AI Health Assistant. These calls are designed to help you stay on top of important health topics and remind you about conversations you might want to have with your doctor.
So now I'm going to get a "friendly" (I guess that's opposed to unfriendly??) call from an AI Health Assistant. I think I'm going to be hanging up the phone in it's face (I know, since it's a BOT it doesn't have a face) when it calls.

No information is more personal than info about your health. I would be OK with an AI call telling me something I might be interested in, but I'd never provide any info. And I'm with you, Jim_S61, I'd hang up quickly if it started with anything sounding like an advertisement or a "great offer".
