BOP II Topic of the Week: I know I don't have $95k lying around to buy Melody, but wow does she show how fast humanoid robots are evolving into something with real emotional presence in the physical world. No more stiff kiosks. We have robots that make eye contact, read your mood, and actually remember past conversations. Humanoid robots are no longer science fiction, they are showing up at conferences, greeting people, and acting like co-workers. Any thoughts on where this is heading or how fast it is moving?

I use CoPilot very often. But it scares me to think that a robotic AI will be walking among us. Will the robot be a positive or negative in our lives? Will this robotic 'human' turn evil and rob a bank, murder humans, kidnap a child? These, amongst others are the negative thoughts about a robotic AI 'human' that terrifys me.
Yet on the other hand, one of these robots can, with their amazing abilities, find cures for all diseases and eliminate ones like Cancer, Alzheimers, genetic disorders, MS, Parkinson's, Autism, ALS, Huntington's, etc.
