It is not long merely about unauthorized or unintended access and guarding the door protecting the data and infrastructure; it is also about managing the AI autonomy with balance and operating with accountability, compliance, and trust. It is not surprising that the focus is migrating from data security to data control. One would like to think the concept of Skynet is funny and obviously science fiction. But as AI continues to grow in usage and deployment, the humor is starting to fade. Congress much take some action on controlling the almost uncontrollable AI domain. And NOT take actions recommended by the technology industry. (i.e., fox guarding the henhouse)
