I've been an advocate of password managers since the original BoP days. I still know people that don't use them and write stuff down. When they screw something up and need it to be fixed, they ask me if I can take a look at it and I need to log into their accout to try and figure out what's wrong. I ask them what their password is. They tell me they don't remember it. They say something to the effect of "I think I wrote it down somewhere" and even when they go to the place they think they wrote it down (to wit: Rolodex) and can't find it, they're upset that they are being prevented from doing what they want to do and could do, if they could log into their account.
